This online encyclopedia offers leveled articles including pictures, videos, links to websites, primary source documents, and hyperlinked vocabulary. “Read to you” and “translate” tools provide additional support for students.
The content includes: encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines, ebooks, images, video, biographies, academic journals, and newspapers. It offers filters for publication date, Lexile level, a citation button to help with reference pages. Teachers can access lesson plans, professional development material, and a Curriculum Standards Module.
(Formerly Kids Info Bits): Provides quick overviews of large topics, current events, monthly “fun facts”, daily “I Wonder” questions, and Lexile reading range filters. The sharing tool allows teachers to send articles via Google Drive, One Drive, and Google Classroom.
